John Huss was born in
Lakewood (Ocean County) but his family moved to Asbury Park, where he
grew up. John and his family moved to Ocean Township when he was a
young man. He was an insurance agent in town and eventually became a
Township Committeeman with then-Mayor Joe Palaia. John has served
the community for many years, both in public and behind the scenes.
John Huss sits down with
our Hometown Histories crew to discuss growing up in Asbury Park,
attending Asbury Park High School and his long involvement with the
Township of Ocean.
